6 dead as van collides with military truck in Misamis Oriental

ILIGAN CITY, Lanao del Norte---Six persons were killed when an Iligan-bound van collided with a military truck in Manticao, Misamis Oriental on Monday evening, police said. The military truck was among a convoy of military vehicles - including Armored Personnel Carriers - heading for Cagayan de Oro City. Initial report said five van passengers were killed there and then during the mishap, which took place between 9 to 10 p.m., while another died after being rushed to a hospital in Manticao. The wounded victims---whose number was not immediately available---were rushed to various hospitals here and in Cagayan de Oro. The military has not issued any statement yet on the inciden...
