Edin Dzeko admits Roma are missing Mohamed Salah after his summer move to Liverpool

Mo Salah struck up a good rapport with Edin Dzeko at Roma

Wednesday, September 13, 2017

Edin Dzeko has confessed that Roma are missing the creative influence of new Liverpool star Mohamed Salah.

The Egypt international completed a summer move to Anfield and has been heralded as an early success on his return to the Premier League.

Roma drew 0-0 at home to Atletico Madrid last night in their opening Champions League group game and former Manchester City striker Dzeko has pinpointed Salah's exit as a cause for concern.

"I scored many goals last season but it will be a lot tougher this season," Dzeko told Calciomercato.

"I think we miss (Francesco) Totti but we need Salah as well. He used to play close to me and it's all different now."
