Italy failed to qualify for a World Cup for the first time since 1958 after losing 1-0 on aggregate to Sweden on Monday night.

The encounter saw Italy stifled by their opponents as it finished a goalless draw on the night. 

And veteran midfielder Daniele De Rossi appeared to complain to coaching staff at being told to warm up suggesting the likes of Lorenzo Insigne should have been brought on.
